Andersen’s “A Series” is a very new window and patio door line and looks like a perfect fit for the Northeast. However, if you click on to Andersen Window and Doors you’ll have a hard time finding much about any “A Series”. The new line has been out for approximately 19 months, and in its infancy only offered through dealers in Maine, labeled a “pilot program”. Now after 19 months, the program has grown and is available to you through Hingham Lumber.
The A series deserves your attention. Why? This series is all about options, while keeping it simple. For years, customers have been asking for options that have not been available until now. Here’s a sampling of some options, just to name a few.
- Extra Sturdy
Exterior of the sashes are made of extruded Fiberglass, frames are made of Fibrex® composite rather than vinyl.
- Complete Alignment
Common sight lines across window styles allow you to specify any combination of window styles and know they will match beautifully and align perfectly every time. Casement, awning, double-hung and picture windows provide consistent beauty with a classic appeal. All are crafted with the same sash, grille profiles, and frame depth. (**See attached detail)
- Easy Math
Simple size charts feature model numbers that are also the rough opening. Need a rough opening for a mull unit? The sum of your rough openings is always equal to your overall size!
- Rigorously Tested with PG50 (DP) Standard
These windows and gliding doors, yes gliders, are PG50 (DP) right out of the box. The standard for our tough New England weather.
- No More Loose Extension Jambs
Pre-applied customer-depth extension jambs fit nearly any wall dimension.
- Complementary Exterior Trim Surrounds Without Nail Holes
Pre-finished exterior trim installs with no visible fasteners or no nail holes. No fill or painting needed.
- Primed Interiors in Addition to Pre-finished Interiors
In addition to the original pre-finished white, Andersen has added a softer Birch bark white and a primed interior. You choose!
- Traditional Spoon Sash Locks with a Tilt Feature Built Right into it!
Tilting a double hung window couldn’t get any easier or look more stylish.
- Finally – 11 Exterior Colors!
The features and benefits of this new product line go on and we want to tell you all about them. It’s a must see. We want to invite you to join us for an evening with Andersen to see the features and discuss your possibilities.
Currently our salesmen have samples on hand for viewing while we prepare to change out many of our wall displays to offer you and your customers a more life like display setting.
Please join us for an evening seminar here with the staff from Brosco, Andersen and HLC on Thursday, January 21st at 5:00 pm. Please call Virginia Tiedemann at 781-749-4200 or Email: to let us know of your interest and we will reserve a spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
