We were asked to explain why our customers should purchase their decorative hardware from our Specialty Hardware Showroom. We think we can respond with two words: CUSTOMER SERVICE
We know that almost all of the hardware we display is available online. The website may offer lower pricing and free shipping. However, customers sometimes get the wrong hardware, missing pieces, the wrong finish and old or discontinued inventory. Returning the product can be difficult, and it often takes weeks for delivery. Also, the product warranty may only apply if purchased through a dealer. Here at Hingham Lumber our job is to make your hardware choice and purchase an easy process. We follow your order from start to finish. We help with your selection, place the order and follow it until it’s received and ready for pick up and installation. We work closely with the Customer Service Associates at our vendors and distributors to ensure the correct product and finish is shipped.
Our Customer Service reaches beyond just you, the customer. Contractors from the greater Boston area and South Shore confidently send clients to our showroom to choose their hardware. They know we understand the latest trends and the timeless looks and features that work with specific decor and environments. They know your order will be placed correctly and they count on us to have it ready for install when they need it. Choosing just the right hardware is a process. Often this is the last piece of the project and with so many options available, this one more decision can be overwhelming.
